On the same day at Ilsan Lake Park in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, the Goyang Autumn Flower Festival presented flower beds decorated with Gawaji rice — believed to be the first cultivated rice on the Korean Peninsula — and scarecrows, signaling the full arrival of autumn.
