Herald Media Group will launch the 8th edition of Herald Global Biz Forum on Sept. 17, bringing together corporate leaders and policy experts in a 13-week program to explore strategies and solutions amid a rapidly changing global business environment.

The forum will be held every Wednesday evening at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel, running through mid-December.

Since its first edition, GBF has hosted 620 CEOs and policy leaders from Korea and abroad, building a reputation as one of the country’s leading executive business platforms. The program combines knowledge sharing with high-level networking, drawing participation from ambassadors, government officials and global innovators. Every year, about 90 CEOs collaborate on projects and seek out new market opportunities.

This year’s theme, “BIG: Designing the Future – Global Strategies and the Role of Leaders,” will feature lectures including: KAIST President Lee Kwang-hyung on humanity in the age of artificial intelligence; Sungkyunkwan University Vice President Choi Jae-boong on new horizons in generative AI; TikTok Asia-Pacific Operations Head Yoichi Sato on strategies for expanding K-content through short-form media; and poet Chung Ho-seung on leadership, life and philosophy.

The program includes networking with ambassadors to South Korea, cultural performances and workshops. Participants are also given an opportunity join an overseas forum scheduled for November in Bangkok, Thailand, for a closer look at global business trends.

“Leaders must not be shaken by crises,” said Herald CEO Choi Jin-young. “GBF is a place of insight, offering not only business management strategies but also reflections on life and leadership, helping to turn uncertainty into opportunity.”

The latest edition of GBF is open to CEOs, public sector executives and association leaders. Participants will receive invitations to Herald forums in the second half of 2025 and opportunities to build global networks while developing future strategies.
