Just two weeks into his presidency, President Lee Jae Myung stepped onto the global diplomatic stage for the first time, attending the expanded Group of Seven summit in Alberta, Canada, from Monday.

On this first overseas trip as president for three days, Lee held bilateral talks with national leaders from nine countries, and the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, introduced South Korea's vision for energy security and artificial intelligence development during an expanded G7 session, while attending a welcoming ceremony and a dinner hosted by Canada.
