Jimin of BTS has generated 1.6 billion plays on Spotify with solo single “Who.”

He achieved the feat in 270 days, reaching the milestone in the shortest time for an Asian artist, and the sixth-shortest time overall.

“Who” fronted his second solo album “Muse” that was rolled out in July 2024.

The single debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 14 and spent 33 weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100, surpassing the record his band held at 32 with “Dynamite.” It enjoyed 28 weeks in total on the UK Official Singles Top 100, also tying BTS' record.

The hip-hop track topped iTunes Top Songs Chart in all 119 regions and earned triple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Last week, the music video for the single surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, his third, following the videos for “Set Me Free Pt. 2” and “Like Crazy.”
