Special promotion video to be screened at Coex
Jin of BTS will return with a new album in May.
He will release his second mini album "Echo" on May 16 at 1 p.m. This marks his first new release in about six months after his first solo EP "Happy" in November.
"Echo" captures various moments that resonate, portraying relatable stories and emotions expressed through Jin’s perspective in a sincere yet witty manner.
The new album will feature seven tracks, the songs based on band-style sounds like his previous release, "Happy."
A special promotion heralded Jin's return. At 6 a.m., Tuesday, a surprise video featuring Jin was shown at K-pop Square Media at Coex in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In the video, Jin appears inside a claw machine filled with plush toys, holding a sign that says "May 16."
The video will be shown daily every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. through Saturday.
