
Irene and Seulgi of Red Velvet will launch a tour in Asia in mid-June, announced label SM Entertainment on Monday.
The duo will host a concert in Seoul June 14-15 and will visit fans in six more cities in the region from July under the title “Balance.” It will be the pair’s first such event as a subunit. The destinations for the tour are: Singapore, Macao, Bangkok, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo.
The namesake subunit is poised to return next month with an EP, about five years after the first mini album “Monster.”
Seulgi dropped second solo EP “Accidentally On Purpose” last month and Irene brought out her first solo set “Like A Flower” in November last year. Red Velvet celebrated tenth anniversary of debut last year woth EP “Cosmic” which topped iTunes Top Albums Chart in 50 regions.
