
The KDI School of Public Policy and Management earned international recognition by entering the global top 51+ tier in the 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subject in the category of Social Policy and Administration.
In the annual world university rankings measured by UK-based analytics firm Quacquarelli Symonds, the KDI School placed between 51st and 100th in the social policy and administration category.
But in terms of citations per paper published by each institution, KDI School ranked No. 2 in the category of social policy and administration, surpassing leading institutions like Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley.
Within South Korea, it ranked fifth in the category.
Based on its recent global recognition, KDI School seeks to solidify its position as a leader in policy and research and education by committing itself to international academic collaboration, driving different research agendas and fostering research excellence.
KDI School continues to enhance its academic network and educational programs by collaborating with key international institutions, including the World Bank, the United Nations and UNESCO.
This year’s edition of the QS World University Rankings featured some 1,758 institutions in over 100 countries.
