Members of Illit shared their feelings on their first debut anniversary through agency Belift Lab on Tuesday.
“It is ‘only’ one year thinking of our future that will flourish, but for some reason, I don’t want to make light of it,” said Yunah. “It feels really precious since we could be with Gllit,” the group’s official fandom community.
In one single year, the five members have achieved a lot: Their debut single made Billboard’s Hot 100 and UK’s Official Singles Top 100 in record time and they picked up 13 trophies, including seven rookie awards, at home and abroad.
But many members picked their showcase as the most memorable moment.
“It was so blissful when Gllit shouted our names and chanted for us in one single voice,” recalled Minju.
Their goal for the second year?
“I would love to love to see a dome concert venue filled with lightsticks,” confided Iroha.
