The music video for Blackpink’s “Lovesick Girls” surpassed 800 million views on YouTube as of Thursday, label YG Entertainment said.
The visual is the quartet’s 13th video to reach the milestone.
“Lovesick Girls” fronted its first full album “The Album” alnog with “How You Like That.” The single hit Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 59 while the album debuted on Billboard 200 at No. 2 and stayed for 10 weeks in total. The LP also entered UK’s Official Albums Top 100 at No. 2 and spent six more weeks on it.
Meanwhile, the members will reunite in July for a world tour, almost 1 1/2 years since its previous tour “Born Pink,” which drew about 1.8 million concertgoers, a record for a K-pop girl group.
A preliminary plan for the upcoming tour listed 10 cities and 18 shows.
