[DISCLOSURE] Korea Investment Holdings (071050) announced on Aug. 5 that its subsidiary Korea Investment & Securities is considering increasing its equity capital up to 4 trillion won (US$3.6 billion) by acquiring HI Investment & Securities or issuing new stocks, in response to Korea Exchange’s inquiry on media reports regarding the matter.
Details are yet to be finalized, KIH said.
