Yuqi of (G)I-dle put out a digital single of her own on Monday, agency Cube Entertainment said.

She dropped “Radio (Dum-Dum),” publishing the song she first put on stage at the group’s Seoul show for international tour “Idol” last year. She wrote the medium tempo tune combining hip-hop and R&B to portray feelings for lost love.

“I was listening to some hip-hop beats and suddenly had an image in my head of people in aughts listening to radio on the street,” she said of how she came to write the song.

Yuqi has proven her musical capabilities thorugh her first solo EP “Yuq1” last year. The mini album sold over 550,000 copies in one week, the third-most for a K-pop solo female singer at the time, and topped iTunes Top Albums Chart in six regions.
