The Korean office of Adidas announced Wednesday that it has donated to five sports teams in Seoul as part of its corporate social responsibility project, “Let’s Exercise, Seoul.”

A donation ceremony was held on Feb. 25 at Seoul Physical Education Middle School, attended by Peter Kwak, general manager of Adidas in Korea; Jung Kyu-hyuk, secretary-general of the Seoul Sports Council; and Cho Youg-hoon, principal of Seoul Physical Education Middle School.

The funds will be allocated to meet the specific needs of each sports team in tracks, wrestling, football and canoeing.

The project, launched in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, aims to enhance sports facilities and create safer, more comfortable environments for athletes and the community. Adidas conducts various CSR initiatives worldwide under its slogan, "Make Sport Equal."

“Since 2017, Adidas has been committed to nurturing athletic talent and enhancing sports environments through ‘Let’s Exercise, Seoul,’” said Kwak of Adidas. “It is our ambition that everyone experiences fair play and equal representation in sport and to make sport an integral part of everyday life. To achieve this, we will continue investing in and supporting grassroots sports in Korea, making a meaningful impact on Korean society through sports.”
