Lisa of Blackpink has been named as one of the performers for the 97th Academy Awards.

She will be the first K-pop singer to hit the stage at the awards show and will perform her solo single “Born Again” with featured artists Doja Cat and Raye.

Hailing the trio as “three global superstars,” the organizer wrote on social media that in “one epic Oscars moment,” the three musicians will “take the stage for a showstopping celebration of cinema.” The awards show will be held March 2.

“Born Again” was dropped earlier this month and entered Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 68 last week, claiming the highest spot for her solo single on the main songs chart. It is a prerelease from her first solo LP “Alter Ego,” which is due out Friday.

The mini album debuted on Billboard 200 at No. 3 and sold over a million units, after selling half a million in the first week. The seven-track album was the fifth most sold album in the US in 2022, based on CD sales and digital download, according to data monger Luminate.

Maenwhile, Dahyun marked her silver screen debut last week. She plays the female lead for “You Are the Apple of My Eye,” a remake of Taiwanese teen romance movie from 2011.
