After repeated controversial posts, fans call for her exclusion from group activities

A series of actions by 2NE1's Park Bom has some fans of the girl group expressing strong dissatisfaction with her. The backlash stems from her repeated social media posts that feature photos of actor Lee Min-ho with captions suggesting a romantic relationship.
In response, the 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union released an official statement Saturday, demanding Park Bom's exclusion from 2NE1's activities.
"Park Bom's continuous social media controversies, along with her repeated unprofessional attitude during tours cannot be justified by health reasons alone," the statement said, adding that her onstage behavior has reached an "unacceptable level."
"While one mistake can be forgiven, her recurring unpredictable actions not only betray the 2NE1 members and fans who have supported her for over a decade but also significantly damage the group’s reputation," the statement continued. The 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union also apologized to Lee Min-ho and his fans, acknowledging the unintended consequences of her behavior.
The controversy began in September 2024 when Park Bom posted a photo of Lee Min-ho on her social media with the caption, “Truly, my husband,” sparking rumors of a romantic relationship. Although her agency clarified that the post was merely an expression of fan admiration, speculation persisted.
On Wednesday, she once again posted a photo of the actor with the caption, “My husband, Lee Min-ho.” After backlash from fans, she deleted the post but reignited the controversy by responding to fans' comments by saying, "Lee Min-ho really is my husband" and claiming that her agency had deleted the post.
Three days later, on Saturday, she posted another photo of Lee with her selfie captioned, “He really is my husband.”
Meanwhile, 2NE1 is currently on its 15th-anniversary Asia tour. The group is set to conclude the tour with an encore concert at Seoul's Olympic Park KSPO Dome on April 12 and April 13.
