Most regions of South Korea, including Seoul, picked up at least a light coating of around 1 centimeter of snow, Wednesday morning, while North and South Gyeongsang and Gangwon provinces reported precipitation of up to 5 cm.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said that the snow will gradually subside Wednesday afternoon and a clear day is forecast for Thursday.
