Jimin of BTS broke a record on Billboard 200 as his second solo album extended its stay to the 26th week.

“Muse” ranked No. 119 on the main albums chart, up 16 rungs from the previous week, becaming the longest-charting LP from a K-pop solo musician, dethroning bandmate Jungkook’s first solo set “Golden.”

The album debuted on the chart at No. 2.

Lead single “Who” secured No. 41 spot on its Hot 100 chart in the 25th week, the third-longest streak for a K-pop singer, only after BTS’ “Dynamite” and Psy’s “Gangnam Style” and tying Fifty Fifty’s “Cupid.”

The song is enjoying its 20th week on the UK’s Official Singles Top 100, ranking No. 13, after hitting it at No. 4 in July.

It was shortlisted for K-pop Song of the Year by 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Wednesday in the US.

Jooheon of Monsta X was discharged from mandatory military service as of Thursday.

He thanked everyone, from the band’s official fan community Monbebe to his bandmates for waiting for him, via agency Starship Entertainment.

Whenever I was given personal time, I watched videos of concerts we had with Monbebe and wishfully thought about making a comeback looking cool, he told fans, confiding that he had written many songs while serving. He also promised to show new sides of himself, with a more mature character.

He is the third member of the band to complete serving his duty, after Shownu and Minhyuk. Kihyun and Hyungwon will be discharged in February and May, respectively. The band is celebrating its 10th anniversary in May and is expected to return as a full group soon after.
