The iconic indie music festival Kyungrockjeol will run offline and online for four days in February.

Captain Rock Company announced that Crying Nut bassist Han Kyung-rok will host "2025 Kyungrockjeol: Come Together" from Feb. 4 to 7.

This year's theme, "Come Together," celebrates both Crying Nut's 30th debut anniversary and 30 years of Korean indie music.

The festival will kick off Feb. 4 to Feb. 5 with "2025 Kyugrockjeol Online," featuring live-streamed performances by over 50 indie music acts. On Feb. 6, the festival moves to Musinsa Garage in Mapo-gu, Seoul, showcasing five teams as they celebrate and promote indie culture.

Over 10 indie acts will perform at Musinsa Garage on Feb. 7 for the final concert "2025 Kyungrockjeol Classic," which will also be livestreamed. The audience can look forward to a special stage by a project team led by Han Kyung-rok, including Toxic’s drummer Kim Seul-ong, Kardi’s guitarist Hwang Leen and MeloMance’s pianist Jeong Dong-hwan.

Captain Rock Company hinted at a unique lineup for the final show, saying, "In celebration of indie music's 30th anniversary, we are preparing special collaborative stages that reflect the history of indie music, in addition to performances by more than 10 teams."

Kyungrockjeol originated in 2005 as an impromptu jam session during Han Kyung-rok's birthday party. Over the years, it has grown into a hallmark festival of the Korean indie music scene. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual event continued through online performances.
