South Korean bakery giant SPC Group said Sunday that its flagship brand Paris Baguette has donated baked goods to firefighters battling the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.

Paris Baguette North America decided to distributed complimentary sandwiches and pastries to support first responders through its 30 bakery cafes located in Los Angeles or nearby areas, including Downtown Los Angeles and San Gabriel. The initiative reflects the America division’s commitment to its slogan, “Nourish Community,” in concert with its franchise stores. “We hope to help LA communities overcome these challenges,” said a company official. “We confirm that none of our stores have been impacted by the recent incident. We are taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff.”

SPC Group has been committed to global humanitarian efforts. In 2023, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with the City of New York to support underprivileged communities. Earlier, it donated $100,000 to aid recovery efforts following large-scale earthquakes in Syria and Turkiye.
