Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday released photos of wounded soldiers he said were North Koreans captured in Russia's Kursk region.

Zelenskyy posted the photographs on his X account, saying that two North Korean soldiers had been taken prisoner and transported to Kyiv, where they were being questioned by the Ukrainian security services.

Zelenskyy claimed that Russian and North Korean forces execute wounded North Korean soldiers to prevent their capture and to erase evidence of their involvement in the conflict.
