The American Chamber of Commerce plans to hold a seminar on May 3 to answer companies’ questions about the Korea-U.S. free trade pact that went effect on March 15.

The seminar titled “Making KORUS Work For You” will take place at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, central Seoul.

Participants include trade experts and top FTA negotiators from the two countries ― Korea’s Deputy Trade Minister Choi Seok-young and assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Japan, Korea and APEC Affairs Wendy Cutler.

Subjects to be discussed include intellectual property rights, rules of origin and custom procedures, services and how the pact can help small and medium-size enterprises, organizers said.

Entrance is 80,000 won and simultaneous interpretation will be provided. For more information, contact AMCHAM at www.amchamkorea.org or call (02) 6201-2200.
