[THE INVESTOR] LG Display (034220) announced on July 27 that its second-quarter operating profit plunged 90.9 percent to 44.4 billion won (US$39.08 million) from the same period last year.

Its sales fell 12.7 percent to 5.86 trillion won on-year.
