German auto parts maker Bosch announced Monday it has appointed Marcello Lusuardi as the new president of Robert Bosch Korea Ltd.
Effective Jan. 1, Lusuardi will succeed Alex Drljaca, who served as president from June 2021 to Dec. 2024. In his new role, Lusuardi will oversee the operations of Bosch Group in Korea, serving as the president of Robert Bosch Korea as well as the head of the Power Solutions division in the country.
“With excellent talent, advanced infrastructure and strong technology, Korea is an attractive market with a long-term growth potential,” Lusuardi said. “With our innovative products, software and services, Bosch will continue to create and provide value for our customers in the Korean market.”
Since joining Bosch Group in 2005 in Stuttgart, Germany, Lusuardi has held senior leadership positions across various markets, including China, the United States and Germany. With over 20 years of experience in the mobility sector, he most recently served as the head of the Commercial Vehicle Computing Business Unit within Bosch’s Cross-Domain Computing Solutions division in Stuttgart from 2018 to 2024.
Before his tenure at Bosch, Lusuardi worked with the Ferrari-Maserati Group in Modena, Italy. He holds a master’s degree in industrial and management engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Italy.
Under Lusuardi’s leadership, Bosch added that it will continue to improve quality of life and conserve natural resources through its innovative technologies.
