Dried fish, flowers, and other items commonly linked to superstitions are placed outside the private residence of former military intelligence commander Roh Sang-won in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. Roh is under investigation for his alleged involvement in plotting President Yoon Suk Yeol’s Dec. 3 martial law declaration.

The National Office of Investigation said its Friday raid of Roh’s home, which also served as a fortunetelling shop, led to the seizure of items including a notebook, which allegedly outlined plans for military unit deployments during the martial law, including target locations such as the National Assembly and the National Election Commission.

Roh, after his disgraceful discharge from the military in 2018 following a sexual assault conviction, has since been operating the fortunetelling house, local reports said. (Yonhap)
