[THE INVESTOR] Renault Samsung Motors said on Aug. 1 that its overall sales expanded from a year earlier in July on brisk sales at home and overseas.
Overall sales came to 18,483 cars last month, up 5.5 percent from the same month last year.
Domestic sales surged 9.7 percent on-year to 7,352 units, while exports gained 2.9 percent to 11,131, the company said in a press release.
In the first seven months of the year, overall sales jumped 9.1 percent on-year to 142,413 units, with domestic sales spiking 23.4 percent to 54,268 cars and exports advancing 1.8 percent to 88,145 cars.
