Fast-food restaurant Lotteria signed a franchising pact with Lao company, Soxay Chaleun Group, to make inroads in ASEAN countries.
The company aims to open 20 outlets in Laos, starting with the first one in early next year. “Laos is a country with 7.7 percent-growth rate but there aren’t many global dining brands there, which makes the future bright,” a Lotteria spokesman said.
Lotteria already has 212 outlets in Vietnam, 34 in Indonesia, 18 in China, eight in Myanmar, three in Cambodia and two in Kazakhstan.
