질투에 눈이 먼 남자친구가 18살 여자친구가 떠날까봐 입술을 물어버려 피범벅을 만들었다고 데일리 메일이 보도했다.
남자친구 (23)가 여자친구가 자신을 떠날까봐 키스를 하던 도중 그녀의 입술을 깨물어 버렸다고 한다. 그 힘으로 1cm 두께의 지우개를 물어뜯을 수 있었을 것이다.
커플이 거의 2년 반 동안 사귀었던 점과 입술을 물기 전에 자신을 사랑하느냐고 물었던 점 또한 충격적이다.
여자친구의 페이스북에서 낯선 남자와의 메시지를 주고받았던 흔적이 없어지자 자신에게 무엇을 숨기냐고 압박을 했던 다툼이 사고로 번진 것이다.
남자친구와 2년 반 동안 교제한 여자친구는 이 다툼이 평소의 다툼이랑 다르다는 것을 직감했다. 그녀는 남자친구의 어머니에게 전화를 걸어 그를 데려가라고 전화를 하려고 했지만 남자친구는 핸드폰을 뺏고 문까지 잠가 그녀가 못 빠져나가도록 막았다.
기회를 엿봐 112에 신고를 하려고 했으나 또 한번 핸드폰을 뺏겼다. 경찰이 나중에 도착하자 둘 다 얼굴이 피범벅된 상태였다. 여자친구는 병원으로 이송됐고 “여자친구가 떠날까봐 두려웠지만 예쁜 여자친구를 해치려고 한 의도가 없다던” 남자친구는 체포되었다.

Boyfriend bit girlfriend’s lip due to insecureness
A 23-year-old boyfriend bit his 18-year-old girlfriend’s lip and left her with a blood-spattered face because he was insecure about losing her, according to the Daily Mail.
Rhys Culley bit girlfriend Chantelle Ward’s lip as he kissed her. The force he used to bite her was equivalent to “biting through a 1 cm thick peice of rubber,” according to the report.
The incident started as Culley became aware that messages between Wars and a stranger had appeared and disappeared on her Facebook page. He demanded to know if she wanted to hide something.
Realizing that this argument wasn’t “normal,” Ward tried to call Culley’s mother to ask her to take him away. But Culley took the phone away from her and locked the doors so she couldn’t escape.
He took her phone away once again as she tried to call the police when he left the phone unguarded.
When the police arrived, both of them were covered in blood. Ward was taken to the hospital while Ward was arrested.
“I did this because I thought she would leave me but never intended to hurt my beautiful girlfriend,” Ward reportedly said.
