Beijing Hyundai topped the sales service category in this year’s China Automobile Customer Satisfaction Index jointly with SAIC Volkswagen and GAC Toyota for the fourth consecutive year, the company said Thursday.
Despite Korea’s frosty ties with China, Dongfeng Yueda Kia also came third in the sales service category.

“It is encouraging that we have received top spot in the customer satisfaction survey amid tough conditions in China,” Hyundai Motor said in a statement.
“We will expand out customer service and roll out new models to heighten our position in China.”
Five models by Hyundai Motor and three Kia models, including the Verna Yuena small sedan, Hyundai Elantra Yuedong sedan, Kia K2 sedan, and Kia KX7 mid-size SUV, topped their vehicle segments in terms of customer satisfaction.
The China Automobile Customer Satisfaction Index is an annual survey conducted by government-affiliated China Association for Quality.
