Incheon Airport’s passenger terminal launched a unique clothes sharing service named “Seinustar” last Thursday, company officials said.

The eco-friendly, online-to-offline service rents out clothing to foreigners arriving in Korea.

For instance, during winter, travelers from tropical climate regions would be able to lease winter clothes during their stay in Korea, which would save them from the burden of excessive baggage, the airport said. To use the service, travelers should visit www.seinustar.com, choose the preferred type and size of clothing, select the lending period and pay in advance through PayPal. A deposit must also be made.

The service is offered near Gate 13 of the arrival terminal, on the first floor at the 71st counter. The clothing can be returned at the same site.

The clothing offered ranges from coats to jackets and hats. During warmer seasons, the service will also provide hanbok, or traditional Korean outfits.

The airport said it is working with Korean companies and designers to release fashion lines and accessories for purchase.

The service is part of the airport’s Creating Shared Value project.
