Dubai Airport Freezone Authority is tapping into the South Korean business community to draw more participation and investment.

A DAFZA delegation recently visited to promote business opportunities and advantages ready to be offered to foreign businesses.

“Our visit this time is aiming to boost investments from South Korea, which currently enjoys robust trade relations and investments with Dubai and UAE,” said the delegation at a seminar held in a partnership with the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Dubai and the United Arab Emirates have been major trading partners of South Korea. Dubai is now ready to embrace more overseas inflow under its scheme to seek economic development anchored on smart cities and sustainability, according to DAFZA officials.

Korean businesses are particularly welcomed to join DAFZA membership and realize advantages there.

The privileges vary from tax exemption and zero currency restriction to a business-friendly environment. DAFZA also guarantees employee sponsorship and foreign ownership.
