[THE INVESTOR] South Korea’s jobless rate edged up in August from a year earlier, a government report showed on Sept. 13.
According to the report by Statistics Korea, the jobless rate stood at 3.6 percent last month, up from 3.1 percent in July.

The unemployment rate for young adults still remaining high amid a prolonged economic slump.
