Korean hip-hop artist MC Mong is returning to the scene with his first full-length album in two years.

The 36-year-old will be releasing his seventh studio album, “U.F.O,” next week, but has no concrete plans to make broadcast appearances, according to his management agency DreamT Entertainment on Monday.

“For the past two years, he has dedicated his heart and soul into perfecting the upcoming album,” DreamT Entertainment said in a statement. “It boasts (the) witty lyrics and charismatic melody expected from MC Mong.”

In 2014, MC Mong rolled out his sixth full-length album “Miss Me or Diss Me,” which topped all major local music charts. It was his first studio release since a scandal broke out in 2010 about his evasion of mandatory military service.

In January, MC Mong released the collaborative digital single “Aftereffect” with electronica band Mad Soul Child’s vocalist Jinsil.

The 12-track album “U.F.O” will be available on local music sites from Sept. 6 at midnight.
