[THE INVESTOR] Jaguar Land Rover Korea will recall a combined 4,990 vehicles for safety reasons, the Transport Ministry said July 5.
The license plate lamp of the Land Rover Discovery Sports Diesel has been found to sometimes separate from the car due to a possible crack, according to the ministry.
Subject to the recall are 2,783 units of the vehicle model produced between Sept. 3, 2014 and March 5, 2016.

The ministry said another 2,197 units of four other Land Rover and Jaguar XF cars will also be recalled for problems in the engine’s crankshaft position sensor and fan belt.
Free repair services will be available starting July 7 at the company’s service centers throughout the country, the ministry added.
