[THE INVESTOR] Kia Motors said on July 1 that its sales grew 2 percent on-year in June thanks to robust domestic demand.
South Korea’s second-largest automaker sold a total of 268,490 units last month, up from 263,255 vehicles a year earlier, according to the company.
Domestic sales jumped 16.7 percent on-year to 52,506 units, while overseas sales edged down 1 percent to 215,984 units over the cited period.
