The Great Korean Beer Festival will once again run this Friday to Sunday at Rose Garden at Everland amusement park, located south of Seoul.

The event will be held between 11 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. A total of eight breweries -- B&W Liquor, Goose Island, Muse International, Sun International, Shinhan F&B, Czech Beer International, Jejusien and Sewon International -- and three restaurants -- Pizza Hut, France Gourmet and High Street Market -- will participate. The festival will feature some of the world’s best brews, such as Effes pilsner, Sin No. 8, San Miguel, Ayinger, Estrella Damm and Primator.

Media Paran, the founder of GKBF and the event cohost, said, “This is a chance to sample fine beers at South Korea’s biggest amusement park.”

GKBF has since 2013 served as a platform for original Korean craft beers to be introduced. The latest and sixth GKBF took place outside Coex from May 4 to 8 this year and garnered more than 220,000 visitors.

For the seventh event this weekend at Everland, a variety of events, such as live music, face painting and an Everland parade, have been prepared for participants.

Admission is free with the purchase of a ticket to the amusement park. Visit the official website of Great Korean Beer Festival at www.greatkoreanbeerfestival.com or its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/greatkoreanbeerfestival for more information.
