Modern rock band Jaurim’s vocalist Kim Yun-a will release the solo digital single “Kyrie” on April 29, said the singer’s agency Interpark.

Jaurim, which means purple rainforest, had performed in the indie scene until its debut in 1997 with its first single, “Hey Hey Hey,” an original sound track of the movie “Man Holding Flowers.”

Kim’s fans have long been awaiting her comeback, as neither the band nor the singer have released a new song for more than three years. The singer’s third solo album “31360” was released in 2010, and the ninth studio album of the band “Goodbye, Grief” was released in 2013.

“Kyrie,” which refers to “Lord, have mercy upon us” in Greek, depicts the complicated feelings of heartbreak, loss and torment expressed in the singer’s dreamlike voice. The song is fully written and produced by the artiste.

Meanwhile, Kim will release another single album this summer and her fourth full studio album in fall.
