Under the agreement, Hanwha E&C will create a 15 billion won ($12.2 million) fund to financially support subcontractors and provide loans if necessary.

In the signing ceremony, company CEO Choi Kwang-ho and representatives from subcontractors came together to establish fair trade order, said company officials.

Since 2009, Hanwha E&C has held various events such as “Co-prosperity DAY,” becoming a corporate model in promoting good relations through fair trade.
