Hanwha Group announced Wednesday the launch of the Hanwha Membership Program to foster and support those who wish to operate a global start-up or work as single-person content creators.

The program is intended to combine Hanwha’s global talent fostering program with entrepreneurially minded Korean college students and foreign exchange students who wish to work abroad (particularly in China) and innovative ideas across a variety of interests. The program does not put a limit on the students’ age or majors.

Applicants selected for the Hanwha Membership Program will participate in a seven-week education session. Those in the “Global Entrepreneur” program will receive a lecture on start-ups, team competitions and a weeklong visit overseas to look at foreign start-up companies to develop a sense of start-up establishment and business ideas.

Meanwhile, those in the “Content Creator” program will receive digital marketing education with Hanwha Group’s talent management center and carry out collaborative projects with the group’s affiliates. Participants who complete the program with high scores will also get an advantage when applying for relevant positions in Hanwha Group affiliates.

Those interested can apply at Hanwha Group’s recruiting website (www.hanwhain.com/web/index.do) until Dec. 13. The list of 30 final candidates will be announced Dec. 28.
