Kolon FnC, the fashion unit of South Korea’s materials manufacturer Kolon Industries, has rolled out a new bomber jacket dubbed “the bomber parka” under its men’s casual fashion brand Series.

Inspired by classic aviator jackets, Kolon’s new bomber jacket is filled with goose down, offering extra warmth and comfort for those seeking outdoor activities in cold weather.

The stylish waist-length jacket is fitted with a hood for a more casual look, is available in two colors -- camouflage and khaki -- and priced at 550,000 won ($472).

Meanwhile, Kolon’s outdoor brand Kolon Sports and women’s casualwear brand Lucky Chouette have also released their own aviator jackets. Prices range from 395,000 won to 690,000 won.

“Pilot jackets have become a hot item today among all fashion segments, including menswear, womenswear as well as outdoor brands,” said a Kolon official.
