Suecomma Bonnie eyes new Chinese markets

Local fashion brand Suecomma Bonnie — established under Kolon FnC, Kolon’s fashion unit — presented its designs and latest products at a fashion presentation in Shanghai last week.

Through the presentation, the firm is looking to better propagate its unique designs to potential Chinese investors. As the brand expands its global presence, Kolon is looking to rack up 100 billion won ($86.50 million) in sales over the next five years.



Last year, Suecomma Bonnie sealed an exclusive license with Chinese fashion group Harson, and is looking to expand into other key destinations in China like Beijing, Shanghai and others.

“We plan to launch new products tailored to the needs of Chinese consumers and carry out intensive marketing in the country as we seek to rise up as a global footwear brand in the years to come,” said Suecomma Bonnie designer Lee Bo-hyun.
