Daewoo Engineering & Construction, a major South Korean builder, said Thursday it would begin allotting the Prugio apartment complex, named the “Gimpo Pungmu 2nd Prugio,” in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province. Prugio is the apartment brand name of Daewoo E&C.

Located within walking distance to Pungmu subway station on a line connected to subway lines 5 and 9 and the Incheon Airport Railroad, residents can travel to Yeouido, Seoul, in 20 minutes when the line opens in 2018.

The complex will offer a total of 2,467 apartment units sized between 59 and 112 square meters in 22 buildings standing up to 35 stories from the ground floor.

Beyond the key features included are that it is located in a pleasant neighborhood with Shinpoong Elementary School nearby. The builder said a day care center that can accommodate about 180 children will be built in the complex.

Large supermarkets including Homeplus and Emart are scheduled to be built in the area at a five-minute walking distance, along with a CGV movie theater.

The average price for each 3.3 square meters of space is expected to be around 11 million won ($9,460). The move-in date is currently set for June 2018.
