Cool down with a swim at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel


Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel is offering a cool summer vacation in the city with the “Frozen Summer” package, available from June 1 to Aug. 31.
The 235,000 won-package includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room with an expansive view of the Seoul cityscape, and a sumptuous breakfast buffet for two at the hotel’s signature restaurant Feast, located on the 41st floor. The buffet is free of charge for one child under 36 months. During the day, guests can enjoy a refreshing swim at the hotel’s swimming pool on the 27th floor along with two scoops of complimentary ice cream from the Lobby Lounge Bar.

David Mitford, new chef at Conrad Seoul


Conrad Seoul has recruited David Mitford, a renowned grill expert with 28 years of international culinary experience in the U.K., U.S., Bahrain, Bermuda and China, as the new chef of the hotel’s restaurant 37 Grill. Chef Mitford is known for incorporating the diverse cultures he encountered during his worldwide ventures into the flavor of his meat and seafood dishes.
Diners will be able to enjoy Grill 37’s signature menu, the Tomahawk steak, which is served attached to a 30 centimeter-long rib bone, as was traditional in Native American cultures. The steak is served in large size portions, starting from 1.2 kilograms including the bone. For seafood lovers, the restaurant’s Seafood Platter features an assorted bowl of king prawns, lobster, snow crab legs, abalone and scallops with three kinds of sauce. Cartoon exhibition at Renaissance Seoul Hotel


Renaissance Seoul Hotel is offering a package in collaboration with Heo Young-man, a celebrated Korean cartoonist best known for his food-inspired cartoon “Le Grand Chef,” among other works. An exhibition of the Heo’s artwork will be available at the lobby, in celebration of the artist’s 40 years of work. Also available will be an open market where visitors can purchase souvenirs and artwork.
The package includes a one-night stay, complimentary breakfast for two at Cafe Elysee, two tickets to Heo’s exhibition, access to the indoor swimming pool, and either a free coupon for the Renaissance recreation center or a 50 percent discount for two persons at the hotel sauna. The first 20 visitors purchasing the package will be presented with Heo’s picture diary or travel diary, selected randomly. The package is priced at 180,000 won and lasts until July 19. Sichuan cusine at Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel


Taipan, Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel’s Chinese restaurant, is offering a monthlong tribute to Sichuan cuisine, known for its bold, piquant flavors.
During the month of June, Taipan guests will be able to enjoy a special seven-course Sichuan meal. Dishes include the hot and sour soup, minced beef soup with egg whites, braised abalone and scallops in brown sauce, braised sea cucumber with mixed mushrooms, fried prawns with red chili and garlic, deep-fried soft shell crab in chili sauce, sautéed beef tenderloin, asparagus in mala sauce, and stir fried halibut in spicy black bean sauce.

Summer Splash at Grand Hyatt Incheon


Grand Hyatt Incheon has launched its new “Grand Summer Splash Package,” available from July 17 to Aug. 31. Guests who book the package before July 7 will enjoy a 55,000 won discount.
The package’s “Fun” option, priced at 235,000 won, includes a one-night stay, breakfast for two, free access to the Grand Play World program and a souvenir. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s three swimming pools, complimentary access to the fitness center and a free shuttle bus to Wangsan Beach.
