Organica Day, the beverage arm of natural food label Organica, has completed the construction of Asia’s first production center exclusively dedicated to detox juice on Monday, according to the company.

Organica is a local brand that first introduced juice cleanse to the Korean market in 2012.

Known as the Just Juice Production Center, the two-building facility in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, has the ability to extract, sterilize, pack and ship up to 5,000 bottles of detox juice each day.

The HACCP-certified sanitation facility also has equipment that uses the high-pressure process for sterilizing juice, instead of heat to maximize nutrient retention in the final product.

“The JPC is a cutting-edge facility befitting the premium quality of the Just Juice Cleanse line,” said Chung Hyung-ho, the CEO of Organica Day. He added, “Its completion will allow Organica to differentiate itself not only from juice brands that use heat sterilization and additives, but also from instant juice bars.”

Organica’s detox juices are made only with cold-pressed fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber, with no sugar or artificial additives. According to Chung, the 30-odd ingredients used in the juices are all carefully extracted manually.

The precisely designed juices come in one-meal, one-day, and three-day sets to help alkalize and revitalize the body. In the programs, the juice is consumed in place of regular food to give the body a break from digesting heavy fats and proteins and to release built-up toxins.
