Air France operated all-female crews in celebration of International Women’s Day, company officials said.

They said 18 women made up the flight crew on Monday’s flight from Seoul to Paris-Charles de Gaulle operated on a Boeing 777-300.

Additionally, all female passengers flying on the AF267 were offered a cosmetic set as a special gift for Women’s Day, which was on Sunday, at the Air France check-in counter of Incheon International Airport.

Air France has held several more events to celebrate International Women’s Day. On Friday, the all-female crew and a Korean interpreter welcomed passengers on board the flight AF264 Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Seoul.

Air France said it tried to promote gender equality in the company, as 44.1 percent of Air France employees are women, and at Air France KLM Korea ― a partnership connecting Seoul, Amsterdam and Paris ― 78 percent of employees are women.
