Audi Korea said Sunday that it aims to sell more than 30,000 vehicles in 2015, about 10 percent more than this year.

According to the local unit of the German luxury carmaker, its car sales are expected to exceed 27,000 units by the end of this year.

Buoyed by seven launches planned for 2015, including the revamped A6 and A7 sedans, the company predicted it would gain further momentum next year to sell more than 30,000 vehicles.

“The sales target reflects an average 10 percent growth rate of the overall import car market next year,” the company said in a statement, citing a recent sales outlook by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association.

The company added it would double the number of after-sales service centers from the current 24 to 40 next year, with the figure for technicians surging from 306 to more than 400.

It also pledged to better communicate with customers through diverse lifestyle and motor sports events as well as enhanced corporate social responsibility activities.

This is the 10th year of Audi’s business in Korea. The carmaker launched five new models this year, including the A3 compact and A8 flagship sedan.
