South Korean President Park Geun-hye and other world leaders held talks on global economic resilience and energy in Australia on Sunday, the second and last day of their annual summit.

The summit of the Group of 20 advanced and emerging economies in Brisbane came as world leaders renewed their commitment to lift growth by more than 2 percent by 2018.

On Saturday, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said that the determination of the G-20 leadership to raise growth by more than 2 percent in the next five years is "a step in the right direction."

The summit brought together U.S. President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin and other top world leaders for talks on a wide-ranging agenda, including the global economy, energy and jobs.

The leaders also plan to discuss future challenges over a working lunch, according to organizers.

Also Sunday, Park plans to hold a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss practical ways to expand the two countries' ties through construction and infrastructure projects, her office said. (Yonhap)
