I would like to express my gratitude for having received an award for our main campaign slogan, “Our People, Our Tomorrow.”

This year marks the sixth anniversary of our campaign, which started in 2009. Our plan to send out a message of hope to the younger generation appears to have been well-received, and the fact that it was recognized by The Korea Herald for being a good example of corporate advertising makes us feel proud.

Our campaign was also recognized by college students as the most inspirational corporate advertisement ― an achievement that makes us feel both grateful and confident.

For the 12th edition of our campaign, we chose the theme “Creative Person” to deliver an important message: that a person with a good idea must be able to overcome the fear of failure and continue taking on challenges in order to realize that idea.

One would say a creative person is a person with brilliant ideas. But in reality, a person who changes the world and leads innovation is not someone who is filled with ideas, but a person who can overcome the fear of failure and persevere.

Likewise, we at Doosan believe that we must be prepared to listen to ideas from our employees ― both young and old ― in order to create true innovation.

This was the message that we sought to deliver through our ad campaign.

We will continue to promote communication with the youth, and will always put people first so as to help them grow into true talents in the days to come.
