In the hot scene, toward the end of the movie, actors including Choi are playing hwatu (a traditional Korean card game), wearing only their underwear.
“None of us were used to doing such a thing. We felt awkward and we couldn’t even look at each other,” Choi said at a press preview on Monday.
“I thought it might be inappropriate or rude if I looked at the half-naked actresses. We just did what we had to do in an unusual circumstance,” Choi explained.
The movie is about the story of Dae-gil, a young man with a natural-born talent in gambling. “Tazza 2: The High Rollers” will open in theaters on Sept. 3.
