Maniac University Sports Town continues the competitive spirit of the World Cup with the first Globald Cup futsal tournament on Aug. 15 at Suwon World Cup Stadium.

Foreign exchange students from across the globe will compete in teams formed based on nationality and region. Each team can have up to 10 players, and participation is open to the first 160 applicants.

Only male students will be eligible to play, but anyone can watch.

The entry fee is 15,000 won per player and will be collected after participants are selected and announced.

Applications to play will be accepted until Aug. 1. Those interested in participating as either players or spectators may email globaldcup@gmail.com for more information. Beer, souvenirs and meals will be available.
