Lee Hong-gi, one of the five members of the K-pop group FT Island, successfully completed a fan-meeting event in Singapore following events held in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Lee’s fan-meeting tour, “Lee Hong Gi’s Proposal,” was held at Resorts World Theater, allowing local fans to meet the star of the popular K-drama “Bride of the Century.”

The rom-com was aired on the cable channel TV Chosun from February through April. Lee played the main character Choi Kang-joo, gaining more international fans than Korean fans.

As the vocalist of FT Island, Lee flaunted his vocal skills by performing a medley of songs from the soundtracks of popular K-drama series. Lee sang “What I Wanted to Say” from “Bride of the Century,” “I’m Saying” from “The Heirs” and “Still” from “You Are Beautiful.”

To top off the heart-pounding performance for his Singaporean fans, Lee staged “Memory” and “Always with You” from the self-composed sixth anniversary EP.

Lee’s popularity also landed him a feature article on the cover of The Strait Times, the largest daily newspaper in Singapore.

The news report brought Lee’s various talents into the spotlight. As a singer, best-selling author, creative director and actor, Lee’s charms and talents have captured the hearts of many Singaporean ladies, the news outlet reported.

Lee will star in the upcoming musical “Vampire” in August.

He will also star in SBS’ new weekend television series “Modern Farmer.” The 20-episode drama starts on Oct. 18 at 8:45 p.m.
