July accommodation package at Oakwood Premier Coex Center

Oakwood Premier Coex Center is offering the “O My July” accommodation package for the month of July. The package includes a one-night stay at the hotel and a summer desert of shaved ice topped with red beans, fresh fruits, macaroons and ice cream for two people. It also comes with free access to the gym and swimming pool. The price for a room at Studio Superior is 210,000 won and a room at Studio Premier is 230,000 won, excluding tax and service charge. Akira Back to present French-infused Japanese cuisine at Lotte Hotel Seoul and Busan

Celebrity chef Akira Back has been invited to present a course menu from July 8-9 at the Japanese restaurant Momoyama at Lotte Hotel Seoul and from July 11-12 at Lotte Hotel Busan. The Japanese course menu, infused with French cuisine techniques and Korean style and ingredients, includes tuna pizza, sea bream carpaccio, “Seoul Garden” salad, sweet shrimp risotto, butter poached lobster tail, black garlic, Korean beef and black sesame cheesecake.
The course menu will be paired with five different kinds of champagne, including Dom Perignon and Moet Chandon. The price for dinner is 250,000 won, including tax and service charge. Lotte Hotel Busan is offering a dinner course at 190,000 won and 250,000 won with wine. Family Discount at the Sheraton D Cube City Hotel

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel’s buffet restaurant Feast is offering a special discount for families. Feast provides a wide selection of dishes, including Korean and international delicacies. Lunch is priced at 60,000 and dinner is priced at 80,000 won. During this event, parents together with children are eligible for a 20 percent discount, and those that also bring grandchildren are eligible for a 30 percent discount. Asparagus-themed Italian cuisine at InterContinental Seoul Coex

Sky Lounge, an Italian restaurant located at InterContinental Seoul Coex, is offering a course menu highlighting asparagus, an Italian summer seasonal ingredient, in all its dishes. The “Veneto Course Menu” consists of two appetizers -- egg rolls made from tuna, cheese, sevruga caviar and asparagus from Veneto, Italy, as well as asparagus soup with steamed lobster and assorted vegetables -- and a main dish featuring Italian risotto stuffed with asparagus, mushroom, and Patagonian toothfish. Wine dinner and charity auction at The Westin Chosun

In celebration of the hotel’s 100th anniversary, The Westin Chosun is presenting three kinds of wine purchased from the renowned wine auction Hospices de Beaune held every year in Burgundy, France. The wines -- Cuvee Docteur Peste Corton Grand Cru Rouge 2011, Cuvee Cyrot-Chaudron Beaune 1er Cru Rouge 2011 and Cuvee Goureau Meursault 2011 -- will be presented at the wine pairing dinner on July 24 and 25 as part of the hotel’s culinary festival for the 100th anniversary celebration. The wines will be paired with an eight-course dinner at the Ningh Gate Grille. During the dinner, a charity wine auction will be held to support children in need. All earnings from the wine auction will be donated to the Um Hong-gil Human Foundation for a school project in the Himalayas. The dinner is priced at 450,000 won, including tax and service charge.
